cold water immersion raises blood pressure and increases stress on the heart. studies have shown this is safe for healthy people and the effects are only temporary. like with any high-intensity activity, there are certain risks associated with performing them. check with your doctor beforehand, as cold exposure and/or ‘ice baths’ can have negative and potentially dangerous effects on people who have, but not limited to, the following medical conditions: heart disease. high blood pressure. diabetes. 

it is NOT recommended to sit in an ‘ice bath’ if you are pregnant or nursing.

i, the person, purchaser, and/or attendee, and/or bearer of this pass, acknowledges that participating and/or observing in the activities hosted and/or sponsored by TubClub™️ has inherent risks, including but not limited to ‘breathwork’, ‘ice baths’, ‘ice barrels’, ‘saunas’, cold exposure, and fire. those risks include but are not limited to:

1. injuries resulting from exposure to and/or usage of structural spaces, rooms, and/or tents.
2. injuries resulting from the fall of persons who may come into contact with others, or contact with objects.
3. injuries resulting from the fall of objects, including but not limited to, water, ice, ‘ice bath(s)’, ‘ice bath’ cover(s), ‘ice barrel(s)’, ‘ice barrel’ cover(s), tree(s), and/or tree branch(es).
4. injuries resulting from exposure to and/or usage of the event location (brady memorial home, 1151 south side street, pittsburgh, pa, 15212).
5. injuries resulting from performing ‘breathwork’, breathing exercises and/or the holding of one’s breath for an extended amount of time.
6. injuries resulting from exposure to cold water and/or cold temperatures for prolonged periods of time.
7. injuries resulting from exposure to ‘sauna’ heat and/or temperatures for prolonged periods of time.
8. injuries resulting from entering and/or exiting the ‘ice bath(s)‘ and/or ‘ice barrel(s)‘. 
9. injuries resulting from entering and/or exiting the ‘sauna(s)’. 
10. injuries resulting from exposure to fire and/or open flames.

i am aware of these and numerous other inherent risks in observing or participating in the activities offered and sponsored by TubClub™️. I ASSUME COMPLETE RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY for those risks and for the injuries that may occur as a result of these risks, EVEN IF the injuries occur in a manner that is NOT FORESEEABLE at the time i sign this agreement. i realize that by voluntarily assuming the risks involved, i will be SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for any loss or damage i sustain, including PERSONAL INJURIES to me, damage to my property, or damage arising out of my death.

i acknowledge that my participation with TubClub™️ is voluntary.

if this pass (ticket) is being purchased or has been purchased on my behalf, i agree to the complete terms of this release, and that participation and/or attendance constitutes my agreement and acceptance of this disclaimer.

i am aware of the potential risk and danger involved in breathwork and cold exposure and waive and release TubClub™️ and all staff, affiliates, contractors, volunteers, participants, property owners, and/or business owners of any liability relating to the use of TubClub™️.
